Dear Friends of the Crisis Center,

I am delighted to announce that our 11th annual gala will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Diablo Country Club.
The theme this year is “Help, Hope & All That Jazz,” with festivities including a pre-gala VIP reception, dancing to the
music from The Addison Street Band!

I am honored to serve as this year’s gala chair and have a great committee assembled to ensure this year’s event is
the best ever. Our goal is to raise critically needed funds to support our life affirming programs.The Crisis Center’s mission
is to keep people alive and safe, help them through crises, and connect them with culturally relevant resources in the
community. Since 1963, we have lived up to our mission, offering 24-hour crisis lines, grief counseling, 211 referrals to
social services, and youth services.


I invite you to join me this year in supporting the gala and there are many ways you can help:

Become a gala sponsor – this year we have expanded our sponsorship program and now offer some new and unique

Buy gala tickets – and invite your friends to join you. The Gala is a great opportunity to introduce people to our
mission and the vital services we provide to individuals and families in Contra Costa County. They can have a great

Provide a Silent or Live Auction item. – We truly need your help to assemble an exciting array of auction items.
We are looking for unique items such as fine wine, vacation getaways, jewelry, etc. Large or small we welcome

Volunteer - We are also looking for volunteers to serve on the committee by helping prior to the gala or volunteering

Last year’s gala sold out so please reply soon so that we can be sure to include you in this wonderful event.
To be listed as a sponsor in the gala invitation, please complete and return the sponsor form to the address below
by August 1, 2012. The gala invitations will be mailed in early September.
