The Contra Costa Crisis Center is a nonprofit organization, not a government entity. Community support makes our life affirming services possible.

Donate Online

It’s easy. It’s fast. It’s secure. Click here. If you wish to send a check, our mailing address is P.O. Box 3364, Walnut Creek, CA 94598.

Wall of Caring

Donations of $250 or more can be memorialized on our Wall of Caring. This display in our lobby of specially-inscribed clay tiles honors special occasions and remembers loved ones.

Endowment

Individuals can make a lasting gift by donating to our endowment. Naming the Crisis Center in a will or trust, or earmaking a donation of $1,000 or more to our endowment, entitles donors to become members of our Candle Society.

United Way

Individuals can designate gifts to our agency through United Way. All anyone has to do is write our name—Contra Costa Crisis Center—on the United Way pledge form. We also receive donations from the Combined Federal Campaign.

Stock Donations

We gladly accept donations of common stock. Our policy is to cash stock donations when they’re received in order to fund critically-needed services. A receipt is issued to the donor based on the value of the stock the day it’s donated.

To make a stock donation, contact our broker, Andrew McGurk, SFA, #453 at Union Bank Investment Services, super branch 070, at 800.634.1100. The brokerage account number is 0BP-140430. The DTC number is 0123. Our federal identification number is 94-1747227.

Vehicle Donations

The tax laws for donating vehicles to charity changed in 2007, and it’s less advantageous now for donors to donate a vehicle. That said, individuals are welcome to donate vehicles if they chose. Please call our business office (925-939-1916).
