Leftovers Thrift Shop is a mini-department store benefiting the Crisis Center. It’s open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Sunday). The location is 2281 Olympic Boulevard in Walnut Creek, California.

Leftovers sells collectibles, jewelry, books, records, housewares, fine linens, crystal, silver, gifts, and greeting cards. For women, Leftovers has a wide assortment of dresses, pantsuits, skirts, vests, sweaters, coats, hats, gloves, shoes, sleepwear, and lingerie. Designer-label clothing can be found in the boutique section. There is always a good selection of party and cruise wear, from full-length gowns to halter tops. The patio area has a large selection of denim items. Bridal gowns and veils sometimes are available. For men, Leftovers has quality clothing and accessories (shoes, belts, etc.). 

Leftovers operates entirely with volunteers. Since the shop was founded in 1976, it has never had a single paid employee. New volunteers are needed and welcome. Volunteers work at least two three-hour shifts per month sorting, pricing, displaying, and selling merchandise.

Donated merchandise is accepted only during hours that the shop is open. It's a good idea to call first before bringing donations. Leftovers doesn’t sell or accept donations of television sets, microwave ovens, typewriters, telephones, kitchen appliances, exercise equipment, window coverings (draperies or rods, blinds, shutters), or electric blankets. Space limitations mean that large or heavy items can't be accepted. Leftovers has no repair staff so all donated items must be clean and in good condition for resale.
