Our Commitment

Our agency is committed to making our services accessible and relevant to people of diverse cultures. We hire diverse staff, recruit and train a diverse pool of volunteers, and ensure that most outreach materials are bilingual. Many members of our staff speak Spanish, and we subscribe to a teleinterpreter service in order to assist callers in additional languages. Cultural competency is part of our mission and is included in all job descriptions and employee evaluations. We published articles on the value of cultural competency.
