DESCRIPTION:What does connection look like in Contra Costa County? \nIs it a mom finding rental assistance before an eviction notice?\nA senior getting connected to food delivery?\nSomeone finally hearing\, “You’re not alone”? \nThat’s the power of 211. \nAnd now\, you can bring that power to life through art. \n🎨 The 2026 United Way Bay Area 211 Art Contest is open February 11 (211 Day!) through March 11. \nThis year’s theme: “The Power in Connection.” \nWe’re inviting artists 18+ across the Bay Area to submit visual or performing art that shows how access to help changes lives.  \nAll mediums welcome — photography\, digital art\, spoken word\, video\, illustration\, and more. \n💵 Prizes include:\n• $250 Regional Awards\n• $1\,000 People’s Choice Award\n• $3\,000 Judge’s Award \nOnline voting begins March 16\, with final winners announced April 4. \nAt Contra Costa Crisis Center\, we answer calls every day that start with uncertainty — and end with connection.
