Congressman Mark DeSaulnier Visits East County First 5 Center to Discuss Early Screening and Intervention with Parents.

We love helping parents and children connect to resources through Help Me Grow and First 5 Contra Costa. The Contra Costa Crisis Center’s 211 information and referral service now has trained developmental specialists available! We help parents navigate to programs and resources their child needs. Help Me Grow focuses on early detection, referral, and treatment for children with developmental or behavioral concerns.

Our free program supports babies, young children, and the people who love them.

Help Me Grow Contra Costa can answer parents’ everyday questions about their children, from ages 0-5.

We also connect families to local resources for free screening of children 0-5 to check how they are growing and developing. Parents and caregivers can call 211 anytime 24/7.

Pathways To Healing: Hope after Suicide Loss follows the family and friends of Chris Taddeo, a young adult who died by suicide. Together, they show the individual experiences a community of people can have after a shared loss.  Watch as they move from confusion and denial to isolation and finding support. Through their various approaches to grief and healing, each journey shares a message of hope, connection and resilience.
